You might say we are all about a hot body at Walker Smith Paint & Body. If you want your automobile looking attractive & well taken-care-of, you probably want to look good yourself! Since it is summer – we came up with some ideas of what to (and what not to) wear. The past few years we have noticed more and more style throwbacks…
There’s the mustache
The muscle car revival.
And, the return of vinyl record players.
The bathing suit is no different. An article in Glamour Magazine encourages women to choose styles from retro, crochet, to high waist bikinis. We’re thinking the retro swimsuits would would go quite nicely paired with a man with a Clark Gable mustache. Then there are the fringe tops, a nice pairing a red Camaro SS and the and crochet fabric tops – which would go great with a Bob Marley record. Don’t forget the high waists – which we’re not sure what to pair with, but we know you’re bold and beautiful if you don that style! There is also growing trend of oddly cut out one-piece swimsuits, or as some people call it, the monokini. The celebrities are wearing them all over the beaches and they look great. But, it sure can go wrong!
For the gentlemen out buying a summer suit – GQ has some suggestions. Long board shorts are no longer the thing… we’re going back to shorter days. (Don’t worry, we’re not talking about speedo-short, but the styles are definitely retro!)
Of course, despite what the fashionistas say, we know your tastes are as diverse as the body styles on the road today. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident when you hit the beach, the pool or the backyard sprinkler.
