One of the best things about Snellville, Georgia is all of the small businesses. When you walk into one of the local stores you will be immediately greeted with friendly smiles.

Walker Smith Body Shop is no different. We know a lot of about our customers, but we’d like to share a little bit about our employees.

Owner Lee St. Germain has been in the business of fixing cars since he was 13 years old, and he loves his job. When asked about the best thing about his job he said:

I guess the guys and meeting people. Money is a bonus. I want people to know they can ask me anything. We want to help people process their claim. I do like being able to help people.

After working for the previous owner Walker Smith since 1980, Lee took over the business a few years ago and decided to keep the name that was so familar to customers in the community.

Along with the decades of experience Lee has working on vehicles that have been in collisions, he also has a history as a Rockdale County firefighter (1982-2002) and he ran a tree service business for a few years. There was a time in Lee’s life when he was working over 90 hours a week doing 3 jobs that he loved.

Lee’s family is one of his greatest accomplishments. He has 5 children ranging in ages from 21-40, and his anniversary with his wife of four years is October 31st.

Stop by and say “Hello” to owner Lee St. Germain. He’s easy to talk to and he knows how to fix just about anything.
